US 175 Right-of-Way Map

This project was the result of the proposed expansion of US 175 to provide a bi-directional service road through the eastern portions of Crandall and Gastonia, Texas. CobbFendley was tasked with mapping the new right-of-way so the property could be acquired to construct the proposed service road. CobbFendley provided surveying services, which included:

Recovered, mapped and re-monumented 3.5 miles of existing US 175 right-of-way
Created nine (9) new parcel takes for the proposed US 175 service road
Recovered approximately 3.5 miles of reverted railroad right-of-way, which required obtaining and recreating the original railroad "val" maps
Researched TxDOT plans and maps from the 1930's in order to reconstruct the existing US 175 right-of-way as well as FM 148
