HOUSTON, TX (July 8, 2008) – Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc., today announced that Monica Silver, P.E., Vice President, has been chosen as President-Elect for the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE). In addition, Sandee Howell, P.E., Associate, has been named Vice President and Chair for the State Young Engineer’s Committee for the Travis Chapter of TSPE.

Cobb Fendley Congratulates New Professional Engineers and Engineers-in-Training

HOUSTON, TX (June 12, 2008) – Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc., today announced that Keri Garner, P.E., and Vineeta Jayaram, P.E., have passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam to be licensed professional engineers in the State of Texas. In addition, Alex Van Duzer, EIT, Alain Chamberlain, EIT, and Manuel Ramirez, EIT, are classifed as Engineers-in-Training after passing the Fundamentals in Engineering exam.

Cobb Fendley Home to Presidents of TSPE and TSPS

HOUSTON, TX (June 10, 2008) – Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc., emphasizing the importance of involvement in the engineering and surveying industry,  is the first firm to simultaneously employ the current President of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) and the current President of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS). William F. Fendley, PE, RPLS, founding Principal of the firm, is the President of TSPE, and Coleen M. Johnson, RPLS, Survey Manager at Cobb Fendley’s Austin office, is the President of TSPS.

Elected by their peers to lead these member-driven associations, Fendley and Johnson are equally dedicated to professionalism and upholding engineering and surveying standards for the common good of their members and the citizens of the State of Texas. Fendley has spent his tenure promoting the image of professional engineers and their contribution to the social, economic and political aspects of communities. Johnson’s theme of “advancing the mission through public awareness and education” is realized through involvement in programs such as the High School Teacher’s Retreat which focuses on showing math teachers how to implement surveying in the classroom.
